Oh well. I actually did post this on the 2nd of July in British time... so The Great Mouse Detective was released 23 years ago today on July 2nd, 1986. I just HAD to do a little commemorative picture as I adore the film so much :'D Also for  as it's her birthday on the 5th :3Sorry Dawson, I didn't know where to put you T.T Plus one of the things people don't know about GMD is that after the MASSIVE failure of The Black Cauldron in 1985, GMD came the year after and did fairly well at the box office, giving the Disney studios the confidence and money to go on and make bigger successes such as The Little Mermaid in 1989, and it goes on. But to me, GMD will always be the biggest success :3  LONG LIVE GMD, more love for one of the most underrated Disney films EVER. *sings the theme tune really loudly* Listen to the theme song whilst looking at the picture :3 23 years... god...
